In 2024, I was a recipient of a World Less Traveled grant at SAIC, which is an unrestricted $1500 travel grant. I used it to go to Korea, to start getting material for a documentary I’m working on, about the emotional effects of the Japanese occupation of Korea and the forced split between North and South Korea, and modern day reunification efforts. Two of my Talent Show episodes were filmed in Korea.
